station, kron 4 news starts now. there did not to be seen to be a shuttle and they died of gunshot forms. >> pam: three men. found shot to death in rural sonoma county. right now. sheriff's investigators are searching the home for answers. this is video of the scene from our helicopter partnership with a-b-c-7- news. the sonoma county sheriff's department tells us, the bodies of the three men were found in the home on ross station road, just outside sebastopol shortly after three this afternoon. authorities are saying the incident is *not a murder suicide. and at least one of the victims that died is connected to the home where the shooting happened. >> we are in the process of interviewing anybody who is
involved with the three deceased subjects. this was not a random crime. i do not think that anybody in sonoma county are in danger. >> pam: one of the victim's brother men inside a bedroom. him for a couple hours. authorities say a triple murder is unusual. they say this is likely an isolated incident. there are three homes and a cabin on the property.that's located near the iron horse vineyard. the men were found inside the cabin. right now. there is no word of any suspect information. >> this is a map of this area. this is just east of iron horse vineyards. and a south of forest hill elementary school. >> pam: palo alto police are investigating an attempted kidnapping in one of that city's quiet neighborhoods. kron four's jeff bush shows where it happened and who police are looking for.
>> reporter: palo alto police say it happened about this time of day. it was about 5:30 monday afternoon. an 11 year old girl was riding her bike along emerson >> she screamed and pedal faster and he did not go after her but he did yell out and threaten that he was going to kidnap her. ashstreetsouthbound. that's when she says this man was yelling obceneties at her as she approached. that scared her but what scared here even more is when he ran out into the street and tried to grab her. she peddled harder and got away and made it home where she told her parents what had happened to her. take a look at this sketch obtained by kron four. you can see there is a high degree of detail in the sketch. the suspect is described as a white male in his 30's, about 140 to 160 pounds with balding, light color hair and round glasses. palo alto police say they are on the lookout for this man.
>> our kids are our most valuable resource and law enforcement takes things very seriously any time a child is involved, especially and 11 year old girl. many of us have kids ourselves and this is not something we want happening anywhere in palo alto or any city in the bay area. it's scary. we don't know what this man's true motivation was and that is what is most concerning about it. palo alto police say they have increased patrols here in this area with both marked and unmarked cars. they say they want to get this guy. they want to ask him questions. they want to know what he was doing on monday afternoon. i'm jeff bush in palo alto, kron four news. >> fairfield investigators released a new photograph genelle renee conway-allen. the 13 year old was found
ash murdered in alan witt park last friday. police believe this image was captured minutes before she was reported missing. kron 4's reggie kumar shows us the intersection where the girl was last seen. >> reporter: this is the intersection east tabor avenue and grande circle, where its believed one of two police cameras located on these light posts, snapped the last photo of 13 year old genelle. the picture shows the girl walking in the street with her pink backpack, possibly in this crosswalk. police won't say which police camera captured the image or where the girl was located when the picture was taken. major market liquor is located right near the intersection. also has surviellance cameras all over its store including this one in back. but, the manager tells me it's not capable of snapping a clear picture of someone in the cross walk. the manager says the investigators did take a copy of the footage. and he thinks he saw the girl in the store before she was found dead. >> i asked her if she was
waiting for something and she said that she was waiting for a ride. however, many girls look the same. >> reporter: in fairfield reggie kumar kron 4 news. >> pam: two men have been arrested in connection with a burglary in los altos. a witness called police after he saw the suspects burglarize a storage unit. the suspects fled in a dark colored pick up truck. but officers located the vehicle shortly after. both men are facing a number of theft related charges.including conspiracy and possession of stolen property. an eight-point-zero magnitude quake off the solomon islands. generated a tsunami of nearly five feet. authorities believe several people are presumed dead. the tsunami damaged dozens of homes in the south pacific island chain. right now -- there is a sigh of relief as officials say tsunami warnings have been cancelled in the south pacific. >> jacqueline: it was cooler tonight. and for the inland valleys it was 55 degrees in livermore. in the north bay, 60s. 61 in napa.

>> police in pittsburg have arrested the hit and run driver, who injured a woman and her two young children last evening. the children are ages. seven and one. one child was in a stroller.the other on a bicycle. all three victims were taken to hospitals. the incident happened on crestview drive near leland road last night-- they were in a crosswalk-- which neighbors say- is a dangerous one. >> the mother, the kids they

>> reporter: in san francisco, charles clifford kron 4 news. >> pam: in national news. president obama is asking congress to come up with tens of billions of dollars in short-term spending cuts and tax revenues to delay automatic spending cuts. those cuts are scheduled to kick in march 1st. mister obama says the nation should move forward with a broad package for tax reform and spending cuts. but if congress can't act before the deadline. lawmakers should at least pass a small package to fend off damaging effects that would be felt across the board. >> our economy is headed in the right direction right now. >> pam: president obama says the proposals he offered house
speaker john boehner late last year during discussions over the so- called fiscal cliff are still on the table. however -- boehner says additional tax hikes are out of the question. >> pam: we're learning more about the gunman -- jimmy lee dykes -- who kidnapped a five year old boy. and held him hostage for nearly a week in an underground bunker in alabama. here are new photos released by the f-b-i showing photos right outside the underground bunker. the f-b-i says dykes was involved in a firefight with swat agents before he was killed during operation. bomb technicians also found two explosive devices on the property today. authorities say one explosive was found inside the bunker -- and the other was located inside a plastic pipe. which dkyes used to communicate with negotiators. released a recording of the 9-1-1 call made by the
